Problems with Shopping Cart
If you receive an error message which looks like this "Sorry, all requests involving the cart need to come from the site's pages directly. This prevents accidental changes to cart contents. The current cart contents are displayed below." This is caused by a privacy setting in your browser or your firewall software which is beyond our control. Either a setting in your browser or firewall software such as Norton Internet Security or Zone Alarm is for some unknown reason set to block your referer by default, or
perhaps some "banner blocking" software. This is not unique to our site nor
to our shopping cart software. Blocking your referer doesn't protect your
privacy in any way, there simply isn't any good reason to do it. Our scripts
require that your referer be present, which is a normal function of your
browser.
One solution would be to clear your browser history cache (in Internet
Explorer go to Tools > Internet Options > Delete Files > Delete All Offline
Content).
Another solution would be to change the settings on your Firewall software
to not block your referer.
If you are using the Opera Web browser or Internet security software like
Zone Alarm Pro, you may see the referer error message since they can both be
configured to prevent the referer from being sent. Some hardware proxy
servers or firewalls may also remove your referer.
To enable the referer data to be sent in
Zone Alarm, open the
options tab and uncheck the Remove Private Header information in the Cookies
tab.
In Opera, open the preferences tab and choose Privacy.
Check the box for Enable referrer logging.
In Norton Internet Security or Norton Personal Firewall, from their support site you can easily follow the instructions on this page
